Alderlea Farm and Cafe

One afternoon, we made our way to Alderlea Farm and Cafe and it turned into one of those slow, easy outings you just want more of. We kept it simple: a Sicilian-style Margherita, soup, salad and bun, plus a couple of craft sodas to tie it all together. Everything felt fresh, comforting, and just right for a laid-back farm afternoon. The café was already buzzing (they had a big group coming in later), but it never felt rushed. They still made sure we had everything we needed, which always makes a difference when you’ve got a toddler in tow. The setting was easily the highlight. Our table overlooked the farm, and we even spotted a few animals from where we were sitting, which instantly became the main event for S. Safe to say, she was fully entertained and very determined to get closer. We didn’t even end up using a high chair because she was too excited, roaming, pointing, taking it all in. One of those meals where sitting still just isn’t part of the plan. ❁Table for Three Scorecard❁ 🚪 ENTRY: Manual farmhouse doors (wide). Terrain is gravel and grass, best for strollers with larger wheels or suspension. 🛒 SPACE: Very open-concept. Plenty of room to park a stroller right beside your table without blocking aisles. 🪑 SEATING: High chairs are available and tucked near the entrance. Bench seating is also an option for "active" eaters. 🚼 ESSENTIALS: Changing station is located in the large, all-gender/accessible washroom. Clean and private. 🤱 NURSING: No dedicated room, but the outdoor perimeter is very discreet and peaceful. 🦖 CHAOS VIBE: 5/5. The "Farm Energy" and open air absorb noise perfectly. No one will hear a squeal over the farm sounds. 🌳 PANIC EXIT: The entire farm! You are 10 seconds away from animal stalls and open walking paths if a "reset" is needed
