Our review
A sunny patio date that turned into a mini restaurant drama!
We originally headed down to Finns Restaurant in downtown Victoria just planning to grab a quick, casual bite. But the moment we saw that stunning waterfront view, we completely changed our minds, settled in, and mama ordered a margarita. ✨🍹✨
It started as the most beautiful, sunny afternoon, and we were all set for the perfect patio dining experience. But if you live in Victoria, you know how fast the inner harbor weather can flip! Out of nowhere, a massive gust of wind picked up and shattered a drinking glass right on the patio.
Naturally, the parenting panic started to set in with sharp glass around, but the staff at Finn’s were absolute superheroes. They moved our family inside incredibly quickly and efficiently, which is a massive plus when you have a toddler in tow. They didn't skip a beat!

Here is the official breakdown of our experience:
ꕤ Table for Three Scorecard ꕤ
🚪 ACCESS: Located right in the heart of downtown with stairs to navigate, but the waterfront views make it worth the steps.
🛋️ VIBE: Beautiful harbor views, a classic Victoria feel, and top-tier customer service that handles chaos with grace.
🚼 FACILITIES: Important Parent Heads-Up: They have *tons* of high chairs available (huge win!), but they do not have a changing table or pod in the washrooms. Plan accordingly!
🦖 CHAOS TOLERANCE: Amazing. They are clearly very well-acquainted with families, likely because they host so many tourists. They welcomed our little one with open arms.
🌿 WIND-DOWN SPOT: Watching the floatplanes take off and land from the window seats inside kept our toddler completely mesmerized while we finished our drinks. 🛩️🌊
