Our review
Our usual Dallas Road stroll somehow turned into dinner plans when we bumped into our friends who just so happened to also be craving Filipino food.
So we ended up at Jempoy's Lechon. Bit of a mission, I’d say. We were two families with two toddlers… you can already imagine the energy. 🙃
For our table, we went straight for the staples: pork BBQ, lechon, and halo-halo. The kind of meal that just makes sense after a long walk by the water. Meanwhile, the kids had their own version of dinner happening: some veggies, some lumpia, some BBQ, and a lot of movement in between bites.
Good thing we got the patio spot and the weather was on our side. The open space gave the toddlers just enough room to burn off steam, which meant we actually got to eat (mostly) in peace.

ꕤ Table for Three Scorecard ꕤ
🚪 ENTRY: Ground level and easy to access from the sidewalk. If you’re heading inside, it’s a bit narrow, best to park the stroller on the patio if the weather permits.
🤍 SPACE: Tight interior. If you’re a party of two with a stroller, you’ll manage, but for two families, the patio is your best friend.
🪑 SEATING: They only have one booster seat available. If you have a portable booster or clip-on chair in the trunk, bring it.
🚼 ESSENTIALS: No changing table on-site. Plan for a “quick change” in the stroller or the car before you sit down to eat.
🦖 CHAOS VIBE: 4/5. It has that warm, “home kitchen” energy. The small space means noise carries, but the staff is incredibly family-friendly and welcoming.
🌳 PANIC EXIT: You’re right by the Dallas Road waterfront. If someone needs a full-volume meltdown, the ocean breeze is just steps away to reset the mood.
------
We left full, kids tired, and the patio definitely did most of the heavy lifting!
