Our review
Happy hour at Lot1 Pasta Bar (📍204 - 815 Cloverdale Ave. Victoria BC) and somehow… somehow… it worked!!
We ordered the Pesto Chicken Radiatori, Crispy Calamares, and Kids Bolognese…family style, of course. Between bites, spills, and passing plates around… that’s just how meals go for us these days.
What made it work wasn’t luck. Colouring sheets, a dedicated kids menu, high chairs ready to go, and enough table space to manage the chaos without feeling like you’re ruining everyone else’s evening.
Lot 1 is more forgiving than it looks, but it still leans semi-formal. This isn’t the spot for a fully unhinged outing. Come slightly prepared and you’ll leave feeling like you actually pulled it off.

Somewhere between the spills and the slow bites, we got a small piece of our old routine back. Everyone at the table, actually okay. One of those dinners you don’t take for granted anymore.
